Ingredients used in COCONUT DRY CHICKEN FRY
• Chicken - 1 cup.
• Vinegar - half tablespoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - as required.
• Onions - 2 numbers.
• Ginger garlic - 1 tea spoon.
• Chilly powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric - 1 tea spoon.
• Pepper powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Gharam masala or chicken masala - 1 tea spoon.
• Curd - half cup.
• Coconut powder - 4 teaspoons.
• Coriander leaves - 2 bunch.
Method:
Take the chicken in to a vessel and add one tablespoon oil, Vinegar & little salt. Switch On the flame and cook chicken mixture on very low flame for 5 to 10 minutes, this makes chicken tender and soft. Add 4 tablespoons of oil into a big pan,once the oil is heated add onions and little salt (Salt makes onion cook fast) Once onions cooked add Ginger & Garlic paste and mix well, let it cook till the raw flavor is gone. Now add Turmeric, Chilly powder, Garam Masala powder, pepper powder, Curd and very little salt as we already added salt to the chicken and onions. Let the chicken cook for 15-20 till it becomes dry, now finally add coconut powder and coriander leafs and let it be on very low flame for 5 to 10 minutes. Now the yummy dry chicken is all set to serve.
