Ingredients used in Chocolate Souffle
• All-purpose flour (maida) - 3 tablespoons.
• Brewed strong coffee - half cup.
• Bittersweet chocolate - 350 grams.
• Milk - 1.5 cups.
• Unsalted butter - 3 tablespoons.
• Granulated sugar - half cup.
• Egg yolk - 5 numbers.
• Egg white - 7 numbers.
• Confectioners sugar - as required.
• Vanilla extract - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Preheat oven to 375ordm;. Melt butter in a sauce pot over low heat, addin flour and milk and cook until it thickens.
  • Now add chocolate and stir constantly until it's melted. Remove from heat and add coffee, vanilla, and half the sugar. One at a time, add the egg yolks while whisking constantly.
  • Butter a baking dish.
  • In a perfectly clean and dry bowl , whisk the egg whites to soft peaks and gradually whisk in the remaining sugar and continue to whisk until the peaks stiffen. Gently fold the egg whites into the souffleacute; base and pour into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake for 35 - 40 minutes until the souffleacute; rises 2 inches above souffleacute; dish.
  • Dust with confectioners sugar and serve immediately because the souffleacute; will deflate in less than two minutes.
