Ingredients used in Chocolate Mousse
• Sugar - 3 tablespoons.
• Heavy cream or whipping cream - 2 cups.
• Egg yolk - 3 numbers.
• Unsweetened chocolate - 100 grams.
• Vanilla - 3/4 tea spoon.
• Water - 3/4 cup.
• Salt - 1 pinch.
Method:
  • Melt chocolate with water over low heat, stir until it is smooth.
  • Add sugar and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring continuously. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
  • Now adda small amount of the hot mixture into the egg yolks. Stir into the remaining hot mixture. Cook and stir for another minute.
  • Cool to room temperature and add in vanilla.
  • Whip the cream with the sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  • Fold into the chocolate mixture. Pour into a container and freeze until firm.
