CHANA SOYA MASALA SAAG

Ingredients used in CHANA SOYA MASALA SAAG
• Spinach - 2 bunch.
• Ginger(cubes) - 4-5 pieces.
• Garlic - 5-7 cloves.
• Onions(chopped) - 1 number.
• Green chillies - 6-8 numbers.
• Nutmeg powder - 1 pinch.
• Coriander leaves - 1/2 bunch.
• Mint leaves - 1/2 bunch.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Kabuli chana/garbanzo - 1/2 cup.
• Butter - 1 tablespoon.
• Tomatoes(chopped) - 1 number.
• Amchur powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Garam masala powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Soya nuggets - 1/2 cup.
Method:
  • First blanch spinach, for that take a pan and add water, spinach then boil it and take out spinach from water to keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add ginger, garlic, green chillies, onions, nutmeg powder, coriander leaves, mint leaves, spinach and switch off the flame to saute it.
  • Then take the above mixture into the blender and bend it into a smooth green paste.
  • In the boiling water add soya nuggets for 5 minutess and then strain the water to keep it aside.
  • Heat butter in a pan and add chopped tomatoes, amchur powder, salt, garam masala powder and cook it.
  • Then add boiled kabuli chana, soya nuggets and saute it.
  • Also add green paste and mix thoroughly to cook.

Then serve this with rice, roti and puri.
