Ingredients used in BROCCOLI BAJJI
• Baking soda - 1 tea spoon.
• Red chilly powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Broccoli - 1 no.
• Rice flour - 2 tablespoons.
• Gram flour - 2 cup.
• Water - as required.
• Oil - as required.
Method:
Mix together gram flour, rice flour, red chilly powder, baking soda and salt to make bajji flour. Add water gradually to the bajji flour avoiding lumps and make a smooth paste.Heat oil in a kadai. When the oil is hot enough, dump few broccoli florets in the bajji batter. When the florets are completely coated with the batter, fry the florets in the oil. Drain excess oil using a paper towel. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
