Ingredients used in Brinjal Fry
• Baby eggplants - 5 no.
• Chopped onions - 2 no.
• Ginger-garlic paste - 2 teaspoons.
• Kobbari karam podi - 2 tablespoons.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
  • Wash the eggplants and cut them into four, lengthwise, to three-fourths of their length.
  • Heat oil in a pan, fry the onions and ginger-garlic paste until golden brown.
  • Then add eggplants and fry on low heat until they are tender.
  • Finally add salt, kobbari karam podi and fry for another 5 minutes.

Serve as a side dish for parties.

this recipie is gud. but what is this kobbara karam podi....can u prepare it at home? plz tell me how to do that. can i replace it with some other podi..if so which one would u recommend?
