BOMMIDALA FISH CURRY

Ingredients used in BOMMIDALA FISH CURRY
• Oil - as required.
• Dry fish(pieces) - 1 cup.
• Onions(chopped) - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Curry leaves - 1 spring.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Tomato(chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Cumin powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves(chopped) - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add dry fish and saute it for 2-3 minutes. Later transfer to a bowl and keep aside.
  • In the same pan add onions, salt, curry leaves, turmeric powder, tomato, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder and mix nicely and cook for 3 minutes with lid on it.
  • In the same pan, add fried dry fish and cook with closed lid again.
  • At last, add garam masala powder, chopped coriander leaves to the same pan and serve it with hot rice.
