BANANA AND BUTTERSCOTCH DOSA
Author : Vahchef
Main Ingredient : Rice
Servings : 4 persons
Published date : July 27, 2018

Ingredients used in BANANA AND BUTTERSCOTCH DOSA
• Rice(regular) - 2 cup.
• Parboiled rice (idli rice) - 1 cup.
• Urad dal - 1 cup.
• Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Pressed rice - 1/4 cup.
• Butter - 4 tablespoons.
• Ripe banana - 3 numbers.
• Peanut chikki (coarsely crushed) - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Soak rice, parboiled rice or idli rice, urad dal, pressed rice, fenugreek seeds in water for few hours, drain the water and blend to a fine dosa batter.
  • Keep this batter in a warm place to ferment. Once it gets fermented well, add a little salt and mix well.
  • Take a spoon full of batter and pour it onto a hot tawa and spread evenly in the circular motion to make a slightly thick dosa.
  • Drizzle some butter on the side and center of the dosa. Cover the dosa with a lid and just cook for few minutes.
  • Then arrange ripe banana pieces (cut into slices) on half of the dosa, put the lid on and let it cook for a minute.
  • After that sprinkle some crushed peanut chikki over the banana, fold the dosa, cover with lid again and cook for a minute.
  • Remove dosa from tawa and cut it into half.

Serve delicious Banana & Butterscotch Dosa.
