Ingredients used in Apple Vada
• Apple (chopped) - 1 number.
• Urad dal (soaked in water) - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Walnuts (chopped) - as required.
• Badam/almonds (chopped) - as required.
• Cardamom powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Cashew nut (chopped) - as required.
• Oil - as required.
• Sugar syrup - as required.
Method:
  • Grind soaked urad dal to a fine paste then sprinkle salt and mix it.
  • Now season it by adding chopped apple pieces, walnuts, badam, along with cardamom powder.
  • Then drop this batter in hot oil in the form of dumpling (vada) to deep fry.
  • When the color slightly changes to light brown, put them in sugar syrup (sugar diluted in water and cooked to a thick consistency) to soak for 1-2 minutes.

DeliciousApple Vada is now ready to serve.
