Ingredients used in AILA FISH FRY
• Aila fish - 5 number.
• Curry leaves - 1 springs.
• Coriander leaves - 1 springs.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Fennel seed powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Sambar powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Pepper powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Lemon juice - 2 teaspoons.
• Maida- all urpose flour - 1/4 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - to fry.
• Onion - 1 number.
Method:
  • Firstly clean the fish, put the gashes and keep aside.
  • Now chopthe curry leaves, Coriander leaves and transferinto a plate.
  • To that add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, fennel seed powder, sambar powder, pepper powder, lemon juice, maida, salt and mix well.
  • Now coat the fish pieceswith masala mixtureand let them rest for 15mins.
  • Heat oil in a pan, place the marinated fish piecesand cook both sides till they are tender.
  • Then take out the excess oil from the pan and again fry the fish piecesfor another few minutes by adding onionrings and lemon juice.
  • Serve hot with rice or roti.
