Ingredients used in SPONGE CAKE
• Eggs - 6 number.
• Flour - 1 cup.
• Sugar (powdered) - 1 cup.
• Baking powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Melted butter - 2 tablespoons.
• Baking sheet or silicon mat - 1 number.
Method:
  • Pre heat the oven to 375 degree farenheit for 15 minutes.
  • Seperate the egg whites from egg yolks and beat the egg whites in the mixer or whisk the whites with a whisktill the whites turn fluffy and stand. (if using mixer it will take 5 minutes to beat and if using whisk will take 20 minutes).
  • Mean while also whisk the yolks also seperately by flavoring with vanilla essence.
  • Take the flour, add the baking powder, salt to it and mix together(you can sieve it also if you want).
  • To the yolk, add the sugar and butter(optional) and mix it properly. Now take the yolk mixture and fold it in theegg white slowly and then slowly pour and fold the flour mixture and mix just once or twice.
  • Spread this mixture on the sprayed sheet and tap it little to spread evenly and bake it in the oven for 22 to 25minute at 375 degree farenheit until done check by putting a tooth pick or knife, then the cake comes out easily.
