Ingredients used in Vegetable Kuzhipaniyaram
• Curry leaves finely chopped - .
• Green chillies finely chopped - 2 or 3 numbers.
• Onion finely chopped - 1/2 numbers.
• Carrot finely crated - 1 numbers.
• Beetroot finely crated - 1 numbers.
• Urad dhal - 1/2 cup.
• Fenugreek seeds - 1 tablespoons.
• Raw rice - 1 cup.
• Par boiled rice or idly rice - 1 cup.
Method:
Soak the par boiled rice, raw rice , urad dhal amp; fenugreek seeds for 3 hrs. Then grind then to a little coarse batter. Let it ferment over night. Next day, after it is fermented. Take a pan add some oil, once the oil is hot add some mustard seeds amp; urad dhal. Let the mustard seeds cracel, then add the curryleaves,onions and green chillies, let them saute for some time then add beetroot amp; carrot. Don#39;t cook the vegetables completly. Let it cook only till the raw smell goes off. Then off the gas. let this mixture cool down. Later on add this mixture to the fermented batter. Mix well Take the Kuzhipaniaram pan amp; make nice delicious kuzhipaniaram.
