Ingredients used in Thanjavur chicken fry
• Curry leaves - 2 springs .
• Poppy seeds - half tsp .
• Peper corns - ouater tsp .
• Fennel seed - ouater tsp .
• Grated cocunut - 4tbs .
• Garlic - 6-7 piece clove.
• Ginger - 1inch piece big.
• Medium size tomato - 1 no big.
• Medium size onion - 2 no big.
• Chicken with bones - 500gm bag.
• Oil - 3-5 tbs .
• Chilli powder - 2-3tsp .
• Corriander powder - 2 tbs .
• Salt to taste - .
Method:
1.clean the chicken and keep aside. 2.in a pan pour one tps of oil and fry fennel seeds,poppy seedspeper corns,ginger and garlic pieces 3.grind the above mixture with grated cocunut. 4.in a pan fry the chopped onions,then tomatoand curry leaves. 5.add chilli and corriander powder to the mixture.finally add salt. 6.add chicken to the mixture and fry it for 3-5 minutes. 7.finally add the grinded masalas and add little water to the chicken 8.keep in the low flame for10 minutes.you will get a wonderfull chicken fry.
