Ingredients used in sooji halwa
• Semolina or sojji - 1 cup.
• Dry fruits - 1/2 cup.
• Butter - 1/2 cup.
• Sugar - 1 cup.
• Water - 2 & half cup.
• Salt - pinch.
Method:
  • Take a pan, add butter, roast dry fruits little brown colour, then add sooji and mix well till it changes it colour to light brown.
  • Now add sugar and mix well then add water, colour (optional), salt, cook for 5 minutes. Close it with a lid.
  • In the same pan, sprinkle sugar(as required) on top and mix it well. Switch off the flame and let it cook for few minutes with closed lid.

Serve it hot.
