Semiya Guntaponganalu Recipe, How To Make Semiya Guntaponganalu Recipe

Sometimes the semiya and semolina absorbs the curd lot so add accordingly. Dont rest it too much becoz the semiya gets mushy. Also add some of the finely chopped veggies into it if u r interested.

Ingredients used in Semiya guntaponganalu
• Semiya - 1 cup.
• Sooji/semolina - 1/2 cup.
• Green chillies / chilli paste - 2 to.
• Onion - 1 small.
• Curd/yogurt - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - 1 to.
• Oil/ghee - 1 tablespoons.
• Ginger - 1 slice.
• Curry leaves - 3 leaf.
• Cilantro - 1 pinch.
Method:
Roast semiya in a pan on a slow flame with little ghee/oil and keep aside. In the same pan roast semolina and keep aside. In a bowl mix roasted semiya,semolina, onions finely chopped, green chillies, ginger,salt, curry leaves and cilantro chopped finely and curd. The mixture should be in the normal guntaponganalu consistency. Rest this mixture aside for about 5mins. Heat the guntaponganalu pan on medium low heat add little ghee and put about a tablespoon of mixture in each one. Cover with a lid. After a min when it is golden in color turn it to the other side and cook for 1more min. serve this semiya guntaponganalu with tomato pachadi. It goes well with any chutney or u can have it simply as a snack with some hot sauce/ sriracha.
