Ingredients used in sabudana vada
• Rice flour - 2 tablespoons.
• Onions finely chopped - 1 number.
• Red chili powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Chopped curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Chopped coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
• Chopped green chilies - 4 number.
• Potato - 1 number.
• Sabudana - 1 cup.
• Chat masala - 1 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Soak sabudana in water for 2-3 hours.
  • Grate raw potato in a bowl and remove the moisture in it.
  • Then add squeezed grated potato, green chilies, chopped coriander leaves, curry leaves, red chili powder, salt, chopped finely onions and mix it well.
  • Add soaked sabudana, rice flour, chat masala in the same bowl, mix it like a thick dough and make small dumplings like vada's and press it.
  • Then deep fry in hot oil on slow flame till golden brown color.

Simple and tasty Sabudana vada is ready to serve.

Even though Sago ought to be soaked for a couple of hours prior to cook, Sabudana doesn’t require just as much soaking. Just washing Sabudana with water once or twice adds moisture so it helps it to fluff in size, thereby maintaining it dry and non-sticky.

 

Nutrition Value:

Sago or Sabudana is lower in fat. but exactly, however, don't have a lot of nutritional value. Sabudana is starch and it is regarded as a source of carbs and therefore ate as food during fasts. People usually combine it with ground nuts and dairy to boost its nutrition value.
