Ingredients used in Pitala Pulusu
• Red chilli and salt - 1 to taste.
• Whole garam masala - 2 piece.
• Green chilli slits - 4 numbers.
• Onions - 1 numbers.
• Tamarid juice - 1 to taste.
Method:
Clean the crab and remove the legs. Fresh crab is preferable. Cna buy them at Kong Kong Market. Meduim size is good. Add salt amp; red chilly powder to crabs.grind:1 big Onion, Curry leaves, Jeera, Coriander seeds, whole garam masala, Ginger and Garlic, Poppy seeds. Add this paste to crabs. Add oil and green chilli( slit along length). Cover it and cook it on low flame until oil shows. Add tamarind juice. Cover it and cook on medium flame.Granish with corriander leaves.
