Ingredients used in Kerala Style Fish Curry In Coconut Milk
• Turmeric powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Pepper powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coconut oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon.
• Pomfret fish - 1 number.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 3 springs.
• Onion - 1 number.
• Cardamom - 2 number.
• Bay leaf - 1 number.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 4 number.
• Coriander powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Coconut milk - 1 cup.
• Rice flour - 2 tablespoons.
• Salt - to taste.
• Tomato (chopped) - 2 number.
Method:
Take aPomfret fish, clean it, cut into pieces and keep aside. Take a plate, add turmeric powder, pepper powder, coconut oil, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice and mix well. Now apply the prepared mixture to the fish pieces and keep aside. Heat coconut oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves, toss it, add the coated fish pieces and fry them. Now add slightly crushed cardamom & bayleaf, chopped onions, chopped green chilies, coriander powder, toss it, add coconut milk, rice flour, salt, mix well and cook with closed lid for about 5 minutes.
