Ingredients used in Brinjal curry
• Pinch of methi seeds - 5to 6 .
• Jeera (cumin seeds) - 1tsp .
• Dhaniyalu (corriander seeds) - 2and half tsp .
• Urad dal - 2tsp .
• Chanada - 3tsp .
• Brinjal - one and half lbs lbs.
• Hing - pinch .
• Redchillies - 10 .
• Coconut powder - 1and half tsp .
• Tamarind pulp 2tsp - 2tsp .
Method:
Heat pan and add 1tsp of oil and add chana,urad dal,corriander seeds 2tsp,cumin seeds 1tsp,methi seeds half tsp,pinch hing,8 to 10 red chillies,fry until lentils are done.Mean while cut brinjal and heat pan and add oil and add brinjals to it.Add salt,turmeric and put lid on it cook till half done.Grind thefried things with coconut and add to the brinjal pan and add tamarind pulp to it and cook until done.
