BRINJAL CHUTNEY-DING CHICK

Ingredients used in BRINJAL CHUTNEY-DING CHICK
• Tamarind - 10 grams.
• Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Green chillies - 4-5 numbers.
• Cumin powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
• Brinajal - 1 number.
• Onions - 1/2 cup.
• Garlic - 3-4 numbers.
Method:
  • Take big size of brinjal cut into slices.
  • Take a pan add oil,cumin seeds,bringal slices,green chillies,mix well then add tamarind, salt corinader leaves mix again cook for 5 minutes in low flame keep mixing in between, if you want to close it with a lid you can and cook for 5 min.
  • If required add little water and close with a lid and cook once it is cooked siwtch of the flame, take Ding and mash the brinjal in the same pan.
  • you can also add Onions finely chopped,chopped garlic and coriander chopped and mix well.
  • Serve with roti or rice.

He does use a lot of salt in his recipes. Specially this iodized salt, highly processed, stripped of all minerals. YIKES!!!!

Sanjay, You're a great cook! and you know great cooks, use purest ingredients. Please check out Himalayan salt and stop using this crappy, iodized, white salt. In Usa it sells for 30$ per kilogram, I am sure you can buy for a fraction o

From the look of it, it's iodized salt, which is poison. At 3:01 you can see the can, I think it's Morton salt.
