Ingredients used in BITTER GOURD FRY
• Bitter gourd - 250 grams.
• Urad dal - 1 tablespoons.
• Chana dal - 1 tablespoons.
• Cumin powder - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Mustard powder - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Chopped onions - 2 large.
• Curry leaves - 3 sticks.
• Salt - to taste.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Red chili powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Sugar - 4 tablespoons.
Method:
  • First cut bitter gourd into thin rounds by removing skin and add salt to it and sqeeze the liquid but not tightly and remove the water.
  • Add oil to pan and season it with mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chana dal and urad dal.
  • Add chopped onions to it and let them fry just for a moment and add bitter gourd and start frying them and remember to check salt as you added salt already and add turmeric powder and after deep frying you add sugar and finally add chili powder.
