A yummy gravy curry with soya kheema with all the flavors and spiciness of Coconut, Poppy seeds, Garam masala and Coriander powder.
- Soak soya granules in hot or cold water and strain the water.
- Take this in a bowl and add chickpea flour, red chilly powder, ginger garlic paste, turmeric, coriander powder, salt and mix it once.
- Again add soda and mix it again to make the dry batter.
- Now make small dumplings and keep them aside.
- Meanwhile the oil is getting hot prepare the gravy.
- Dry roast dry coconut pieces and when the color changes transfer it in a blender.
- Now dry roast poppy seeds and when the color changes add in a blender and make a fine paste by adding water into it.
- For the gravy take oil in a hot pan and add shahi jeera, onions, salt and cook till it becomes brown.
- When oil is hot deep fry the soya dumplings and take them out on tissue paper when they become golden brown.
- Add ginger garlic paste in the onions, then turmeric, green chillies, coriander powder, coconut paste, curd and keep on stiring.
- Add little water so that it cooks well.
- When the gravy thickens add the soya dumplings, garam masala, fresh coariander leaves.
- Mix it thoroughly and let it simmer for few more minutes.
Serve hot with rice or roti.
