Snakegourd-Seseme curry(Potlakaya nuvvulu kura)

Ingredients used in Snakegourd-Seseme curry(Potlakaya nuvvulu kura)
• Red chillies - 7 .
• Raw rice - 2 teaspoons.
• Seseme seeds - 4 tablespoons.
• Snake gourd/ bottle gourd - 1 lbs.
• Curry leaves, asafoetida / hing, ghee, garlic,salt, turmeric - Enough .
Method:
Step 1. Cut SnakeGourd into bite size pieces and boil them in water, until they are tender enough. Add some salt to the water. Can use Microwave/ stovetop also fine. Step 2. Dry roast the Seseme seeds, Raw rice, red chillies until nice aroma comes. Step 3. Grind the Step 2 ingredients to a fine powder. Step 4. Add enough ghee to the pan on medium heat Step 5. Add Asafoetida, Garlic pieces, curry leaves, Turmeric in order to the pan. Step 6. Drain Snakegourd pieces from hot water and add them to the pan. Step 7. Leave 2-3 mins until the water evaporates, then add the Spice powder done in step 3. Step 8 . Leave for 5 mins until raw smell gone and the sesame powder coated to the pieces nicely. Variations: you can also add 3tsp of coconut powder and 3 tsp of curds to the above curry in the last step.
