- Clean and devein the shrimp.
- Add turmeric powder, salt and Keep it aside.
- Now grind ginger and garlic into paste. Keep it aside.
- Dry roast Fenugreek Seeds,Coriander seeds,black mustard seeds,black pepper corns,cloves and cinnamon sticks on low heat, until the seeds change colour to pale brown.
- Remove from heat, cool and make into a fine powder, keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and add shrimp. and fry shrimp. until the pieces turn pink,and shrimp becomes hard,Remove from oil, keep aside
- In the remaining oil, over medium-low heat, fry ginger-garlic paste.
- Add red chilly powder and powdered spices to it and fry for 3 minutes
- Mix well and next add shrimp and lime juice.
- Heat little oil in a small pan and add mustards to the hot oil, once they start popup add Curry leaves, add this to the shrimp.
- Allow the stuff to cool down.
- Store it in an air tight jar and refrigerate.
