Most of us love eating mushrooms. They are my all-time favourite as they are extremely healthy and nutritious. They are high protein ingredient, very versatile and fast to cook. They can be made into a variety of quick and easy snacks, curry, soups, stir-fries and salads.
They pair well with veggies like potato, peas etc in making some absolutely delectable curry based dishes. Mushrooms have wonderful earthy flavours, are inexpensive, quick to cook and offer a fantastic mushroomy flavor on cooking right. Edible mushrooms like white and brown crimini, porcinis, oyster mushrooms etc are extensively used in cooking.
They are easily incorporated into a varied dishes such as soups, sauces, vegetable medley curries, stir-fries, pastas and rice dishes etc. On cooking, mushroom mingles well with spices which enhance the flavours and taste. They make the dish more dense, colourful, flavourful and aromatic.
