Ingredients used in Parval Ulli Karam
• Parval - 1 pound.
• Onions - 1 big.
• Cumin - 1 teaspoons.
• Red chilies - 3 numbers.
• Oil - 3 tablespoons.
• Turmeric - 1 pinch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Coriander leaves chopped - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
Wash and Cut Parval ends and slice them length wise and keep aside. Take a kadai, add oil when hot add the sliced parval, add turmeric and salt and cover and cook on medium heat. Mean while grind onions, jeera and red chilies. When Parval are half cooked add the ground onion, jeera, red chili paste and fry uncovered till raw smell of onion paste goes and they are fried well. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with Rice or Roti
