Ingredients used in Palak rice
• Green chill - .
• Ginger-garlic - .
• Spinach - 1 bunch.
• Rice - 1 1/2 cup.
Method:
Wash dry 1 bunch of spinach and roughly chop it. Puree it along with 3 garlic cloves, 1quot; ginger, 8 small green chillies. Add little water if wanted. Now measure the puree. Wash 1 1/2 cups of rice and keep aside. In a pressure cooker pan, add about 5 spoons of ghee and oil each(increase the amount if wanted). Add Jeera, white sesame seeds, once the seeds are golden coloured add the spinach puree. Fry it till the oil seperates out of till that stage(roughly about 10 minutes). Now add 1 sp of dhania-jeera powder, 1/4 sp of garam masala, little jaggery(or 1/2 tspn sugar), 2 tspn lemon juice and salt to taste. Finally add rice and 3 1/2 cups of water. Mix well and check for the taste. Cover the cooker lid and cook as you do for plain rice. Serve hot.

palak rice tastes yummmy and also very nutritious. i have a small suggestion. the taste will be twofold if we saute some onions cut finely and some finely cut palak and added the above cooked palak rice to it.
