In a large vessel take add a oil. add onion. fry till onion is golden brown, add chopped tomatoes. Fry them till it becomes soft. Add chicken washed and cut in small pieces.add lemon juice and salt n cook them in low flame. meanwile fry all the spices .(whole garam masala, chillies coriander and cumin) Grind together cloves fried masala, tamarind,and half bunch of coriander leaves into a smooth paste. Add it to the chicken mix well aand let it cook again for abt 10 minutes. Now fry coconut, curryleaves and cashews in a kadai. till the cocnut is slitly brown.a Now gring them into a smppth paste and add it to the chicken and cook till the chicken is fully done and the curry comes to a boil. you can add water if needed to maintain the consistency. Once it comes to a boil Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Ingredients used in Moms chicken recipe
• Lime juice - 2 teaspoons.
• Tomatoes - 1-2 small.
• Coriander leaves - half bunch.
• Coconut grated - 1 cup.
• Cloves - 4-6 numbers.
• Poppy seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Star anees - 2 numbers.
• Saunf - 1 teaspoons.
• Whole garam masala(cinnamon stick) - 1 piece.
• Onion chopped lengthwise - 2 numbers.
• Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Whole coriander seeds - 1 tablespoons.
• Garlic cloves - 5-6 numbers.
• Red chillies - 10-12 numbers.
• Chicken - 2 lbs.
• Salt - to taste.
• Tamarind - piece.
• Broken cashews - 10 piece.
• Curry leaves - 3-4 numbers.
• Oil oor ghee - 2-3 tablespoons.
• Turmeric - 1 fl. oz..
