Ingredients used in karahi chicken
• Gingergarlic paste - 1tbsp .
• Turmeric - 1pinch .
• Chilly powder - 1teaspoon .
• Coriander powder - 2tbsp .
• Aamchur powder or chana masala - 1 teaspoon .
• Fenugreek - 1 pinch .
• Dried red chilly - 3 .
• Cumin seeds - 1tsp .
• Chicken - 1kg grams.
• Chopped onions - 2large .
• Chopped tomatoes - 1large .
• Milk - 1bowl .
• Garam masala - 1/2 teaspoon .
Method:
heat oil in a karari.add cumin seeds nd allow it to splutter.then add fenugreek.next add chopped dried red chillies. add onions nd ginger garlic paste nd sought it well.to this add aamchur powder,garam masala,coriander powder,chilly powder nd turmeric. sought it well in low flame till v can see that the masala has got fried nd then add to it the chopped tomatoes nd cook it till the tomatoes gets mashed up nd cooked. to this add the raw chicken,salt nd stir for two minutes. then add the milk nd a bit of water nd allow it to cook until the gravy gets reduced nd the chicken is cooked.
