Ingredients used in kadai paneer
• Cashewnut - 10 piece.
• Sugar - .
• Salt - .
• Garam masala powder - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Coriander powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Butter - 2 tablespoons.
• Capsicum - 1 .
• Onion - 5 .
• Paneer - 1 large.
• Garlic - 7 .
• Ginger - 1/2 .
• Green chillies - 4 .
• Red chillies - 5 .
• Tomato - 5 .
Method:
1. cut the paneer into 2 inches cubes. 2.first chop the onion amp; capsicun in a lenght wise 3. put some butter in a pan amp; when it get hot add capsicum amp; onion to it amp; fry until it gets to brown in colour 4.then add coriander powder amp; garam masala powder to it amp; toss well 5.then take it from the pan amp; keep it sepertely in a plate 6.then add ginger,garlic red chilli,green chilli amp; tomatoes in a blender amp; make a paste 7.in the same pan which is used before add oil amp; when it get heat add the blended paste to it 8. when it get fried add salt amp; sugar to it ,let it fry well until the oil comes up 9. then add the panner to it amp; mix well. 10.then add little water to it amp; let it boil for few min 11.then add the fried onion amp; capsicum to it amp; mix well 12.then finally add the fried cashewnut to it....

It is called kadai   paneer or karahi paneer because the paneer or cottage cheese is cooked in an Indian wok called kadai.

 

 Kadai paneer is a very popular North Indian Curry made by paneer cooked in a red Indian gravy.  Kadai paneer is one of the easiest tasty Paneer dishes that can be made in minutes. It is a terrific blend of Indian spices combined with gentle pieces of cottage cheese called Paneer. To make kadai paneer, paneer is seasoned, gently spiced and cooked with tomatoes and bell pepper. It is serve along with roti, naan or jeera rice. 

 

Two main ingredients, Kasuri Methi (fenugreek leaves) and Whole Coriander Seeds play a vital role as they not only give Kadai Paneer the flavor but also distinct aroma.

 

Recipe:

Blend tomato and make it puree.  Add turmeric, kadai masala powder, red chili powder, salt, coriander seeds. Add 1 cup of water and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add water according to the desired consistency.

Add Paneer cubes and cook for almost 5 minutes in the masala. Switch off the stove. At last add kasuri methi and cilantro leaves, Check the seasoning.
