Ingredients used in ishtu
• Coconut milk - 2 cup.
• Curryleaves - 1 springs.
• Ginger - 2 inch piece.
• Greenchily - 1-2 numbers.
• Onion - 1 numbers.
• Potato - 3-4 numbers.
• Coconut oil - 1 teaspoons.
Method:
Chop potatos in thin cube slices.Chop onions length wise.cut ginger amp; greenchilly into 3-4 pieces. In cooking pan, add potatos, onion, greenchilly, ginger and add water to it to cook.When the potato is almost done(dont mash the potato) add coconut milk or well ground coconut in it.Keep it for few mins.After its done add curry leaves and coconut oil. This you can eat as a side dish for rice and it goes with chappathis.
