Buchanania Lanzan is the botanical name of Chironji. Chironji or Charoli is an evergreen Indian medicinal plant, They are mostly grown in East India and neighboring country Burma. It is used as spice and added as a dessert too. It is also known as melon seed, that has taste of almonds. These are small pale and are spotted with the dark patches. Chironji seeds provides essential energy and are helpful to improve eye sight. They are also helpful in cooling the body temperature. During medicinal practices chironji oil is used as a substitute for the almond oil.
