Ingredients used in Dosakaya-aava kura
• Salt to taste - .
• Curry leaves - 5 .
• Aava powder (mustard) - 1 1/2 or 1 teaspoons.
• Yogurt - 2 tablespoons.
• Green chillies - 4 .
• Onion - 1 small.
• Dosakayalu or yellow cucumber - 1 large.
• Red chilli powder - 1 1/2 teaspoons.
• Oil - 1 1/2 tablespoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Cilantro leaves ( optional) - 8 .
Method:

First remove the skin of cucumber with peeler. Remove seeds from it. Cut into medium long pieces and wash them in water. Wipe the water with some clean cloth, put them in a plate. Let it dry for some time. Then take the powder and apply to all pieces . Keep them dry some more time. Put the pan on the flame add oil, after heating the oil add onions which will be in thin medium slices. After 10 ms add green chillies and curry leaves. After some time add dosakaya pieces, also salt and turmeric powder. Close the pan with lid and let it cook for 8 ms then add red chilli powder. After 10 ms add yogurt and cook for 5 more ms then off the flame. Garnish with cilantro.
