to prepare the dish: 1.cook the tuar dal seperately. take a saute pan add ghee to it and when it is heated through add mustard seeds and when they crackle add jeera and hing to mixture and add turmeric and add chopped onions,tomatoes,green chillies and saute them till the onions are transluscent and tomatoes releases their moisture and ginger garlic paste, garam masala powder, kastoori methi powder,kitchen king masala and add the cooked dal mixture to it and simmer it all the ingredients are cooked through and add chopped coriander leaves on top of it and close the fire.
goes with chappati , jeera rice, shahi pulao too with fried pappad.
