Ingredients used in dahi vendi(okras in curd)
• Roasted cumin & red chilli powder - to taste.
• Salt to taste - .
• Haldi - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Garlic (crushed) - 3 .
• Curry leaves - 1 springs.
• Oil (for fry) - 2 tablespoons.
• Mustard - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Curd - 1 cup.
• Bhindi/bhendi/okra - 15 bag.
• Black salt - to taste.
• A pinch of sugar - .
• Red chilli powder(opt) - to taste.
Method:
wash the pkra, cut the edges of okra, slit half from middle.then add salt amp; tumeric,then in a hot pan add some oil ..fry the bhindi till soften.then in a bowl add curd,mix ba=lack salt,sugar,salt,roasted cuminamp; red chilli powder.mix well add little bit of water amp; mix again.then add the fried bhindi.then in same pan add oil,add mustard,curry leaves,crushed garlic...fry till garlics r brown..then add this chhaunk to dahi bhindi..
