Moong dal dahi vadas are light and yummy variety of vadas. Dahi vadas or dahi bhallas are usually made of Urad dal, but they equally taste good when made with moong dal. So if you have some yellow moong dal and corn lying around in your kitchen, give this a try and I am sure you and your family would relish the result.
- Take a mixie jar and add slightly hard corn, moong dal, ginger, green chillies, salt and make vada batter.
- Transfer into a bowl and add mashed potato mix nicely and drop in small roundel in hot oil.
- Once vada are deep fried remove it into a plate and transfer into warm water until it is soft.
- In a yogurt bowl add salt, black salt and mix it.
- Add vada and rest it for 30 minutes.
- Transfer into serving plate pour dahi mixture on its top.
- On it top sprinkle red chili powder, cumin powder, fennel powder, grated carrot, sweet chutney, sev.
Now corn moong dal dahi vada is ready to serve.
