Ingredients used in Coconut Sambhar
• Salt - to taste.
• Mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Curry leaves - 5-6 springs.
• Potato - 1/2 big.
• Rice - 2 teaspoons.
• Methi seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Red chillies - 6 nos numbers.
• Coconut (fresh/ desicated) - 2 handful big.
• Tomatoes - 2 numbers.
• Tamarind paste - 1 tablespoons.
• Hing - 1 pinch.
Method:
Cook potatoes, with tamrind paste and salt till the potatoes are done. Fry all the dry ingredients in 1/2 teaspoon oil and add all rest of the ingredients and grind it to a smooth paste. Now add this ground mixture to the tamrind paste mixture. Bring to boil and close it with the lid. Yummy coconut sambar is ready. You can add any other vegetables instead of potatoes( Brinjal, Okra,Brocalli)
