Remove the skin of chicken leg pieces and make small cutings on the flesh ,so that the masalas goes well inside the chicken.Marinate it well(for 2 hrs) with one table spoon of ginger amp; garlic paste,two spoons of curd,lemon juice .If you want you can add garam masala powder also. Grind the coconut,half of the onion,cinnamon stick,cardamon,poppy seeds,clove,cashewnut,two green chilles in to fine paste. Once the marination is done,pour half of the oil into the pan and let it heat for some time,then add the marinated chicken and allow it to fry till it is 40 percent done.Don#39;t cook the chicken fully. Remove the chicken pieces and add the remaining oil to the pan.Once the oil is heated ,add some sliced onions,green chilles, finely grinded masala paste to the oil and let it fry sometime.The masala is to be fried in such a way that the oil should come of the masala paste.Then add the partially cooked chicken leg pieces.Add some water (not much,may be half cup) and put a lid on the pan and allow the chicken to cook well in the masala till it is complete cooked.Garnish the chicken leggies with fresh corriander leaves. If we want more gravy ,we can add some water while cooking.Otherwise the water formed during marination and cooking the chicken initially is enough. Thanks for the opportunity.
