Ingredients used in Chicken chatpata
• Cooriender leaves - to taste.
• Green chillies - to taste.
• Garlic - 6 clove.
• Ginger - small.
• Whole garam masala - .
• Dry coriander seeds - 2 teaspoons.
• Jeera - 2 teaspoons.
• Boneless chicken - 2 lbs.
• Oil - 1/4 cup.
• Tomatos - 2 big.
• Onions - 2 big.
Method:
1. Cut onions in big chunks, chop tomatoes. 2. In a cooker add 2 cups of water. 3. Add following ingredients to the water, 4. Jeera, crushed coriander powder, whole garam masala, crushed ginger, crushed garlic, slit green chilies, all the onions. Use 2 big size onions which we get in costco/sams else 5-6 small onions. put tomatoes. Chili powder, Turmeric powder, little garam masala,salt. 5. give 2 whistles. allow it to cool down. 6. Now with a spoon try to mash all this cooked masala. 7. Add 1/4 cup of oil to this masala.Add Green coriander leaves. 8. Add chicken. little water if needed. 9. cover with a plate and let it cook. 10. Once chicken is 90% done, increase the flame and reduce water. you should not see any water and it should leave oil. Serve hot with paratha.
