Ingredients used in Bun Kabab
• Chana dal - half cup.
• Potato - 2 numbers.
• Sandwich buns - 2 numbers.
• Tomato - 1 number.
• Cucumber - 1 tablespoon.
• Egg - 2 numbers.
• Green chutney - 1 tablespoon.
• Red chilli powder - to taste.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Boil the potatoes, peel and mash it. Set aside.
  • Boil the chana dal in water with little salt. Boil until well soft. Strain the water from the dal.
  • In a bowl mix the boiled dal with the mashed potatoes. Also add salt, red chili powder and mix properly.
  • Then make round kababs out of this mixture and dip the kababs in the beaten egg whites.
  • Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the kebabs.
  • Cut the buns in half.
  • Heat little oil in a frying pan. Put half bun in the pan.
  • Top with chutney, kabab, cucumber and tomato slice. Top with bun.

Serve hot.
