- Dry roast poppy seeds, transferto a blender, add coriander powder, salt,grind it, even add coconut pieces along with required amount of water and grind to a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, chopped onions, curry leaves, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, saute till onions turn slightly transparent.
- Now, add chopped tomatoes, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, prepared masala paste and cookwith closed lid for about 10 minutes on a slow flame.
- When oil oozesout of the gravy, add tamarind pulp, slitted green chilies, chopped coriander leaves, adjust seasoning, add cleaned bommidalu fish pieces and cook it.
