Ingredients used in kozhi kuzhambu chicken kozhambu
• Whole cumin - pinch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Red chillie powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Corriander powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Tomatoes - 1/2 piece.
• Onions - 2 numbers.
• Chicken - 500 grams.
• Curry leaves - 5 leaf.
• Mustard seeds - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Oil - 100 ml.
Method:
1. HEAT OIL IN A PAN AND ADD CUT ONIONS .SAUTE THE ONIONS TILL BROWN. 2. ADD TOMATOES AND SAUTE FOR FEW MINS. 3. NOW GRIND THIS SAUTED ONION TOMATOE MIX ALONG WITH CORRIANDER POWDER,TURMERIC POWDER,RED CHILLIE POWDER, WHOLE CUMIN, PEPPER POWDER AND MAKE A PASTE. 4. HEAT LITTLE OIL IN THE PAN AND SAUTE THE WASHED CHICKEN PIECES FOR FEW MINS. 5. NOW ADD THE GROUND MIX INTO THE CHICKEN IN THE PAN,MIX IT GOOD, ADD LITTLE WATER AND SALT TO IT AND PRESSURE COOK . TWO TO THREE WHISTLES. 6.HEAT LITTLE OIL IN THE PAN ADD MUSTARD SEEDS AND CURRY LEAVES .LET IT CRACKLE. 7. ADD THE PRESSURE COOKED CHICKEN KOZHAMBU INTO THE PAN N BRING IT TO BOIL TILL ITS THICK.
