soya nuggets also called meal maker boiled and cooked in sweet and sour gravy.
- Boil soya bean nuggets for 5 minutes, even boil green peas and keep aside.
- Heat a pan, add peanuts dry roast this in a slow flame, add sesame seeds, dry roast along with peanuts, then add coconut powder, saute it and put this into the blender, add some water and make a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, when mustard seeds splutter add cumin seeds, red chilies, methi seeds, kalonji (optional), add sliced onions, salt, curry leaves, cook this till onions are golden in colour, add ginger garlic paste cook this till raw falvour is gone
- In it, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, green chilies, add peanut and sesame seed paste, water, mix it like a thin paste, cook this on a slow flame for 30 minutes, then add boiled soya bean nuggets, boiled green peas.
- Add tomatoes, and let it cook with closed lid for about 2-3 minutes.
- At last, add chopped green chilies, chopped mint leaves, coriander leaves, and cook this for 3-4 minutes.
Serve this hot with puri or chapathi.
