Tender tamarind leaves is known as Chinta kaya in Andhra Pradesh and the combination of sambar prepared with raw papaya and tender tamarind is a delicious and tasty.
- Take a pan and add dry red chillies, peppercorns, coriander seeds, cumin seeds and dry roast it.
- Transfer into blender and make powder to it add tender tamarind and make paste.
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, green chillies, curry leaves, turmeric powder, asafoetida, onions, raw papaya and saute it.
- To it add tomato, salt and saute it, later add water, tamarind mixture paste.
- To it add red chili powder, boiled dal and boil it, later add sugar boil again.
