- Soak chick peas along with red chilles and ginger for 30 to 45 minutes.
- Grind this into a mixture adding no or very litle water (water suffiecient enough to make it a course mixture which binds).
- To this mixture add a pinch of asefotida, chopped mint and coriander leaves along with chopped onions.
- Add salt to taste. Mix it well and form into small rounds and flatten it lightly and deep fry in hot oil till they are golden brown.
Serve them hot with either coconut chutney or eat them straight.
