Palak dal or palakura Pappu is an Andhra spinach and dal curry made using fresh palak and dal. It is served with rice, ghee or chapathi, phulka, and papads.
- Boil dal and keep aside.
- heat oil add red chilli whole, mustard and cumin seeds, add sliced garlic and onion, add turmeric,hing, curry leaves ,chopped chilli and cook for 2 minutes
- add tomatoes and cook till they are half cooked add spinach , butter and cook for 2 min add daal ( dal which has been cooked well and mash)add salt cook for another 5minutes and serve hot with poori, chapati and rice.
