Horlicks Oats Masala Vadas are truly addictive fiber-rich fritters. A perfect fusion of health and taste with a spicy twist.
- Soak chana dal for about 2 hours then grind to a coarse paste by adding Horlicks oats to it and keep it aside.
- Pestle fennel seeds andkeep aside.
- Now separately crush green chilies, ginger, garlic cloves and keep aside.
- Take the prepared chana dal and Horlicks oats paste in a bowl, add crushed fennel seeds powder, ginger, garlic, chopped onions, curry leaves, coriander leaves, salt and mix them to make a dough by adding water in small quantities.
- Now, make small dumplings and shape them into vadas.
- Deep fry the vadas in hot oil till they turn golden brown in color.
- Take butter in a bowl, use a spatula to beat well.
- Now to the same bowl add curd, lemon zest, sugar, a pinch of salt, turmeric powder, lemon juice and mix well.
Delicious Horlicks Oats Masala Vadas are now ready to be served hot with flavored cream cheese.
