- Prepare a batter with soaked urad dal, use water to turn batter to thinconsistency.
- Now add Horlicks oats to the batter and mix well.
- Heat around 2-3 tablespoons of oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, chana dal, urad dal wash, red chilies, curry leaves, saute it, transfer to the above batter, add salt and mix well.
- Grease oil to the molds of idli preparation tray and pour the batter into it.
- Now Steam cook the idlis in a steamer for about 10 minutes with closed lid. Later de-mold the idlis.
