There will be hardly anyone who does not love Biryani and this one is no exception. Mushroom biryani is so simple to prepare and tastes. Mushroom Biryani is a great one pot meal for lunch.
- Take a mixie jar add almonds, cashew nuts,curd, salt as per taste,peppercorns, fresh coconut make it into a fine paste and keep aside.
- In a pan add oil, whole garam masala (caraway seeds, bay leaf, cardamom, cloves, biryani flower, mace), sliced onion, salt as per taste,ginger garlic paste and mix it well. Saute all these nicely.
- Then add mint leaves, chopped green chilies, coriander powder, cumin powder and cook it well.
- Now add coconut mixture into the whole garam masala pan and mushroom cook it well.
- Take another pan add water, salt, oil and let it boil. Add soaked rice and cook it 90% done.
- Later transfer the cooked rice, top it with brown onion, coriander leaves, saffron color and ghee. Put on lid cook for 5 minutes.
Serve with raitha.
