Kaju korma is dish very rich in gravy and tastes really scrumptious. This dish can be prepared at any festival or special occasion or a party.
- First, soak the whole cashew nuts.
- Take cashew nuts, almonds, poppy seeds, melon seeds, put it into the hot water and cook for 15 minutes, then let it cool down put them into the blender and add fried onions, make a fine paste.
- Heat oil in a pan add garam masala spices (cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, bay leaves), add cumin seeds, saute it and add ginger garlic paste, cook this till raw flavor is gone.
- Add tomato puree, once cooked put earlier grinded masala paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, mix it well.
- Before it comes to boil then add curd, cook for 20 minutes. Add soaked whole cashew nuts to it, cook this for 3-4 minutes.
- Then add fresh cream, reduce the flame cook for 2 minutes then switch off the flame.
Serve this with chapati.
